A New Week

Good Morning,

I cannot believe that January is almost gone and February is here already. Leave me a comment and let me know what is going on in Blog Land:-)

The picture is my first attempt at an angel and water colors. I really like the way it came out for my first try. I have to fix her eyes, but other than that I will leave it as is. I drew another one, but have not painted it yet. Let me know what you think. Thanks.

I can't believe its Friday already. Maybe I will get a chance to work on some of art work this weekend.  At least I got a few pictures up on the site. I have so many ideas but not enough time to get it all done:-)

New To The Art World:-/

Good Morning,

I realize there is a learning curve to everything we do in life, but I still get upset when I can't seem to get it all just right. I am new to all of this (art and blogging) and still get frustrated when I can't make something look the way I want it too. I have started and tossed two beautiful pictures so far for the challenge. So today I am going to start #3, and as we know; the third time is always the charm;-) So I trust that this will be the one that I don't mess up and that I really get to post.

I am so excited that after only one week I have a few followers and I have already talked to and gotten wonderful suggestions from fellow bloggers. I am truly blessed and trust this will be the much needed change and encouragement I need in my life at this time. Please keep the suggestions coming. Thank you so much!

Good Morning

Well, as you can see. I still have not posted a picture for the challenge yet and the time is getting closer by the day. I have to get at least one picture up so I am really going to try and get it finished this week. I also found another challenge that I would love to participate in, but I am not sure if I will be able to get enough art work done. I so love doing my art, it really seems to put me in a much better state of mind.

I know that the stress of my sister being sick is not helping and now her son, my nephew was in the hospital for a couple of days. They told him he needs to live a less stressful life. I wonder how you do that:-/

Heavy Heart

Good Morning,

Today is a sad day for me. I found out that my sister has cancer. We have known she has been sick for a while now, but it breaks my heart to know how sick she really is. This is just the beginning, so we will see where this leads her. I know she is very tired and weak already, so I am not sure which direction she will decide to go in. If she will decide on treatment or if she will decided to ride it out. I trust that what ever decision she makes, she will be at peace with it. Cindy Lew

Bedroom Pictures

Good Morning,

I found these pictures on the Internet and I just have to share them. I want my bedroom to look like this minus the prints on the wall only with pink instead of blue. I have our room done in pink and taupe right now. I purchased the white duvet but I am thinking of doing a tea dye on it because white and kitties don't really mix well:-) But I found this awesome duvet give away in the new Romantic Homes magazine and I am going to enter. Of course I would die if I really ever won anything like that, but it would be perfect.

Ready - Set - Begin

I am going to try and post my first of many (I hope) pieces of art work to the Sketchbook Challenge this weekend. This month’s theme is "Highly Prized". I have so many things that are on my highly prized list that I am not sure which one to create first. But I believe my first post will have to be something pertaining to my belief that without the love and guidance of my guardian angels I would not be where I am today.

A New Day

I am still working on getting things together to add to the blog. I would like to get some of my art work up and of course pictures of my babies to share. I am also hoping to get a few photoshop tutorials posted so I can share some techniques that I have used in the past on photos.
